GALLERIES, MUSEUMS & CULTURAL LANDMARKS

Beyond the fairs, Wynwood’s leading art institutions and cultural spaces present exhibitions and experiences created specifically for Art Week, offering visitors a deeper look into the district’s creative landscape:

  • Museum of Graffiti (Dec 3 – 6, 276 NW 26th St | museumofgraffiti.com) – Celebrating its sixth anniversary, the museum presents Origins, a landmark survey of graffiti’s roots featuring original paintings, by United Graffiti Artists (UGA) members PHASE2, FLINT 707, SNAKE 1, and COCO144, that have not been seen since their debut in 1973, alongside El Tiguere, a solo exhibition by Harlem-born, Paris-based artist JonOne. Guests can expect live painting, interactive brand activations, and daily events uniting the worlds of art, music, and community in the heart of Wynwood.

  • Wynwood Walls (Nov 24–Dec 1, 2516 NW 2nd Ave | thewynwoodwalls.com) – The world’s premier outdoor street art museum unveils a new curatorial theme, ONLY HUMAN, exploring what defines humanity in an age of technology. Curated by Jessica Goldman Srebnick, the show features new works by Persue, Miss Birdy, Joe Iurato, Cryptik, Seth Globepainter, and more.

  • The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse (Dec 1–6, 3591 NW 27th St | margulieswarehouse.com) – Three museum-caliber exhibitions—Pop Art, Records of the Past, and Abstract Expressionism—anchor Wynwood’s fine-art landscape.
Enjoy free admission during Art Week and explore museum-quality exhibitions spanning postwar, contemporary, and sculptural works from one of Miami’s most respected private collections.

  • Gary Nader Art Centre – “From Picasso to Botero” (NAMLA, 62 NE 27th St | namla.us) – Curated by Gary Nader, this exhibition brings together works by Pablo Picasso and Fernando Botero, exploring the bold visions of two artists who redefined modern art.

  • The Art of Hip Hop (Dec 3–5, 299 NW 25th St | artofhiphop.com) – “Heroes, Villains, and Violence”, an immersive collaborative exhibition by London-based artists SLAWN and OPAKE presented by Zig‑Zag. Giant wood‑panel paintings blend cartoon/pop iconography, parody, and boxing motifs to explore redemption and family; the opening aligns with the venue’s 2nd anniversary and features a limited‑edition pop‑up shop and an outdoor Zig‑Zag lounge with DJs, live art, drops, and giveaways.
