On December 3, the Moore Building buzzed with innovation and elegance as Will.i.am hosted an exclusive dinner during Art Basel, showcasing Navier’s groundbreaking N30 electric hydrofoil boat. The sleek vessel stole the spotlight, representing a fusion of technology, art, and sustainability.Daymond John (Shark Tank investor), Vinita Kochhar (Director of Marketing, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co) and Kamal Hotchandani (CEO, Haute Living)
An elite gathering of tech moguls, artists, and environmental advocates mingled in this immersive setting, where they explored the advanced engineering behind the N30. Co-founder Sampriti Bhattacharyya addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of the evening. “Tonight is about celebrating what’s possible when technology, art, and sustainability come together,” she said. “Navier is more than a boat—it’s a movement.”
The event featured video demonstrations and virtual tours of the N30, leaving guests inspired to share their experiences on social media with hashtags like #GoldenBoat and #NavierN30. As the night unfolded, excitement surrounded Navier’s debut at Art Basel, with eager attendees lining up for a chance to experience the luxurious vessel firsthand.
Founded by MIT PhD Sampriti Bhattacharyya, Navier aims to redefine sustainable luxury on the water. Often dubbed the “Tesla of the Seas,” the company specializes in efficient, zero-emission marine vessels. The N30 stands out as America’s first all-electric hydrofoiling boat and boasts the longest range of any electric vessel, being ten times more efficient than traditional gas-powered alternatives.
Bhattacharyya, who moved to the U.S. from India with just $200, has made strides in industries where women are underrepresented. With a rich background in aerospace, robotics, and AI, she champions initiatives to empower women in STEM and is poised to reshape the future of waterborne travel. As Art Basel continues, the buzz around Navier’s N30 promises to grow, solidifying its status as a standout in luxury and innovation.
