Directors of America’s most distinguished Gilded Age house museums will participate in a panel discussion on Friday, January 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Flager Museum. The discussion will focus on the challenges of maintaining historic sites in the face of economic and social change.
The forum includes Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Executive Director Joel Hoffman, John Blades of the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, Bill Bodine of the Frick Art and Historical Center in Pittsburgh, Trudy Coxe of the Preservation Society of Newport County, William Griswold of The Morgan Library & Museum in New York, John Murdock of The Huntington Library, Art Collection, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, and Anne Poulet of the Frick Collection in New York. There will be a reception with the directors in the Lake Room following the forum.
