The illustrious, world-class luxury Italian furniture mono-brand, Visionnaire, officially announced the opening of its first flagship store in North America early 2015. Offering a 7500+-square-foot furniture showroom located in Miami, the nearly 60-year-old brand sets its sights on revolutionizing the way US consumers – residential, business, contract and yachts alike – create customized interior atmospheres to fit their personal needs, style and taste.
“Luxury, style and quality are core values within the Visionnaire brand philosophy,” says Eleonore Cavalli, Visionnaire’s Creative Director. “Our made-in-Italy brand has grown beyond simple furnishings to providing bespoke furnishing solutions for consumer projects.” In addition to its indoor and outdoor furniture and lifestyle offerings, Visionnaire offers tailor-made projects, crafted according to consumers’ specific needs, making it the ideal partner in projects for private dwellings as well as luxury contract proposals.
In preparation for expansion and market growth, Visionnaire has expanded their offerings to include a holistic approach to service – including design, build, and preparation of one-of-a-kind tailor made projects for an increasingly demanding international clientele.
The Miami showroom will be housed in an imposing, art deco building in the Wynwood area at 2063 Biscayne Boulevard. The Visionnaire design team has organized the showroom on a single floor using design elements as coding to create distinct environments that demonstrate a variety of different, yet unified total looks.
“There will be classic codes evoking concepts of traditional luxury such as wood paneling, elegant frames, rich velvets, curtains lux wallpaper and gilt,” said Cavalli. “Contemporary sensibilities will connect with design coding influenced by the Miami city atmosphere to create the feel of a bright and clean open-air art gallery.”
Luxury and elegance are key tones permeating throughout the showroom’s design and are highlighted by scale with dramatically high ceilings and use of natural light. Each collection will be matched with a complementary design setting within the showroom.
While the new collection and its showroom environment invoke the formality of a classic era, Visionnaire’s outdoor offerings will be highlighted within the showroom by a radically different design language. For this collection, the design team has selected Adventures in the Sea wallpaper featuring sailing vessels, landscapes and the fearsome mythological Kraken. All the pillars are smoke-colored, mirror-glazed with oval engravings. Suspended ceilings are set on different levels, enhancing the exhibition areas by delineating vignettes from each collection.
Recently, Visionnaire unveiled a critically acclaimed Collection inspired by Dandyism at the Salone del Mobile 2014. The showroom design team has created a home for these pieces, inspired by the sophistication and old-world cues of the collection with metallic-hued jacquard wallpaper together with a dominant wall completely outfitted with classic Lindoro-type wood paneling modernized with metal accents.
Visionnaire s home philosophy speaks to a new way to regard furnishing – not strictly linked to the product, but linked to a way of living and linked to how the furniture will be used within its owner s lifestyle. This vision has been the driving force in increased global demand for Visionnaire and the company s worldwide expansion.
