Vino E Olio Grand Opening in the Design District

After much anticipation, Vino E Olio will open October 20th, 2010 as the Design District’s newest restaurant.  Last December, a lucky handful of Art Basel goers were treated to a preview of the restaurant and it has been teasing onlookers ever since.  Wait no more, the hungry can eat and eat they will – tortelli stuffed with pear, ricotta and pecorino cheese served with a beet root sauce, duck breast served with a red onion confit, and the menu goes on.

Alessandro Cecconi’s Vino E Olio will bring a new level of Italian cuisine never before seen in Miami. At the helm, Chef Andrea Menichetti is sure to delight the most discerning tastebuds with his rustic Tuscan cuisine. Chef Andrea Menichetti will turn out some of his most well known dishes, along with seasonal fare made with fresh, local and imported ingredients.  Guests will have the option to dine al fresco on the stunning outdoor terrace or at the Chef’s Table, Vino E Olio’s Pièce de résistance, a glass enclosed space allowing guests to observe the magic in Vino E Olio’s kitchen while maintaining a sense of privacy.

Vino E Olio is located at 139 NE 39th Street in Miami’s Design District and will be open seven days a week from 5:00pm – 2:00am.  For more information call 305.573.0707 or visit www.vinoeolio.com.   Find Vino E Olio on Facebook at www.facebook.com/vinoeolio or follow the restaurant on Twitter @vinoeolio.
