Uniqlo Expands Footprint in Miami and Texas, Plans 11 New U.S. Stores for 2026

This fall, Uniqlo is making significant moves in the U.S., opening its first stores in Miami and expanding in Texas with new locations in Austin and Houston Galleria. Since entering Texas in 2024, the brand’s rapid growth reflects strong local demand and positive reception.

CEO Fuminori Adachi emphasizes targeted expansion, aiming to build lasting community relationships by delivering the full Uniqlo experience—featuring RFID self-checkout, alterations, donation bins, and customizable UTme! services. Some locations will also offer RE.UNIQLO Studios for embroidery and repairs.

With plans to open 11 new U.S. stores in 2026—including four in New York City and others across Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Washington D.C., and Annapolis—Uniqlo continues its steady North American growth. Currently operating 78 stores in the U.S., the global retailer boasts over 2,500 locations worldwide.
