In an exciting collaboration, Tribeca Festival and Art Basel have announced their first round of programming for the upcoming Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach. Taking place from December 6th to 9th, 2023, this event promises to be a thrilling fusion of live musical performances and exclusive conversations with iconic artists.
The centerpiece of the festival is the Music Lounge, where attendees will be treated to four nights of captivating live performances and DJ sets. Some of the featured artists include Eartheater, a rising multi-instrumentalist composer and vocalist known for pushing the boundaries of pop music, as well as DJ Dangerous Rose, who recently opened for Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. DJ Natasha Diggs will present “Soul in the Horn” alongside Yussef Dayes, offering a dance party experience filled with horn-infused sounds from around the world. Additionally, artists from the soundtrack of the MAX Original series “Rap Sh!t” will take the stage following a panel discussion on the discovery of artists and new music through TV and film. Closing the Music Lounge will be British electronic musician Actress, a prominent figure in the electronic scene.
The Tribeca Talks lineup, featuring live conversations with iconic artists, will be announced later this month, adding another layer of depth to the festival’s programming.
This unique collaboration between Tribeca Festival and Art Basel marks a significant expansion for both events. Building on the success of Tribeca Festival’s popular Music Lounges in Brooklyn and Miami, the partnership aims to bring together trailblazing musical talent during Art Basel Miami Beach, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences.
Art Basel Miami Beach itself is returning this year with its 21st edition, showcasing 277 leading galleries from around the world. The fair, held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, will feature an extraordinary range of art at the highest level. In addition to on-site presentations, visitors can expect a robust visitor program both within and beyond the fair halls, made possible by Art Basel’s premier exhibitors and esteemed cultural partners in Miami Beach and South Florida.
