Oliver! is a spirited tale that follows a young malnourished orphan through the streets of Victorian England. Through his journey of mistreatment, deception and abduction by an array of grotesque people, Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance among a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft he did not commit, his chances of discovering the true love of a family are threatened.
