The Miami Beach EDITION came alive on Friday night as it hosted the eagerly anticipated eighth annual Ping Pong & Pizza event at MARKET at EDITION. From 10 PM to 1 AM, the air buzzed with excitement, laughter, and the delightful aroma of freshly baked pizzas created by culinary icon Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Located at 2901 Collins Ave, the event drew a vibrant crowd of esteemed chefs and influencers, turning the evening into a celebration of culinary creativity and camaraderie. Notable attendees included Chef Dale Talde, Mark Murphy, Chef Kevin Lee, Chef Shota Nakajima, Chef Mattia Agazzi, Chef Bernardo Paladini, Chef Michael Schwartz, Chef Scott Lynquist, and Chef Tyson Cole, among others. Social media stars such as Gio Gutierrez, Sam Schnur, Sebastian Genta, Logan Moffitt, Salt Hank, Josh Elkin, and Jeremy Jacobwitz added to the star-studded atmosphere.
Guests savored an array of signature dishes, with wood-fired pizzas taking center stage. Highlights included the iconic Black Truffle pizza and Spicy Chorizo, while a stunning raw bar showcased an enticing selection of stone crab, oysters, and crudo. A curated charcuterie station offered a feast for the senses, complemented by MARKET’s signature decadent desserts, including the ever-popular cake pops that attendees eagerly await each year.
Thirsts were quenched with specialty cocktails from La Fête du Rosé, featuring standouts like the refreshing St Tropez Margarita and the vibrant Rose Negroni. Of course, Peroni beer flowed freely alongside these crafted cocktails, enhancing the celebratory spirit of the occasion. The lively beats spun by DJ Keen One kept guests dancing late into the night.
