Opera & Conductors Orchestra Fellowship
June 11 – July 26, 2020
Participants awarded an Opera & Conductors Orchestra Fellowship receive a full fellowship covering all tuition and housing costs. Fellowship students serve as the primary musicians for all MCMF Opera Institute productions and the MCMF Conducting Institute, including mainstage and chamber operas, and the orchestral readings and culminating concert performance of the Conducting Institute. In addition, fellowship students receive individual instruction and chamber music coachings, as well as the opportunity to participate in masterclasses and the MMF Concerto Competition.
Fellowship duties for the opera and conducting orchestras take priority over all other MMF activities. Fellows may be asked to participate in a symphonic concert, if needed.

Weeks 1 and 2 Rehearsals and performances for opera productions
Week 3 Conducting Institute and performance for Wagner Institute
Weeks 4 and 5 Rehearsals and performances of opera productions Repertoire listed on Opera and Conducting Institute webpages.
