Miami’s hottest designer – Rene Ruiz hosted the kick-off for 2013 American Cancer Society Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon at his atelier on Tuesday, September 10th. About 50 guests including current and past honorees, committee members, and supporters attended the kick-off and had an opportunity to preview his latest collection as they enjoyed a delectable lunch, by Thierry’s Catering.
Rene Ruiz, a well-known South Florida designer for nearly two decades has truly gone International, with the opening of his showroom in NYC this past year and the showing of his collection at markets during Fashion Week in New York as well as in Paris. His exquisite evening wear collection can now be acquired in high-end retailers around the world, including Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
The 2013 Inner Circle of Twelve Honorees include: Ana Milton, Barbara Hevia, Christina Getty, Criselda Breene, DJ Kerr, Jeanne Shinefield, Kathy Simkins, Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi,Madeleine Munilla, Marile Lopez, Martha Mishcon, and Tina Carlo
These women will be honored at the Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the InterContinental Miami. The show will be presented by Rene Ruiz and will feature his holiday and resort collection. This year’s event is certain to be Miami’s luncheon of the year, as the American Cancer Society celebrates 100 years of progress in the fight against cancer.
