Premium grocer The Fresh Market inaugurated its newest location in South Miami on Wednesday, marking its eighth store in Miami-Dade and the start of a busy expansion year. The opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with guests, local officials, and a fully stocked store showcasing high-quality meats, seafood, seasonal produce, local products, and international favorites.
Demonstrating its community commitment, The Fresh Market contributed $2,000 to Feeding South Florida during the event. CEO Brian Johnson expressed excitement: “We’re proud to bring our award-winning shopping experience to South Miami, with premium foods, local and global offerings, and signature hospitality.”
The grand opening kicked off two days of festivities, culminating on Saturday, January 31, with giveaways, food tastings, and the highlight—a cracking of an 80-pound Parmesan wheel.
