Celebrate the season with Christmas Eve and Christmas Day specials at Katsuya, Bar Central, and Cartagena, each offering a unique holiday cocktail and dessert to indulge in festive flavors.
At Katsuya, enjoy the Yuki (Snow) cocktail, a delicate blend of gin, yuzu, simple syrup, and cream, infused with egg white and Mrs. Claus’s strawberry purée ($20). End the meal off with the Merry Mochi, a Sweet white bean paste and rice dough, filled with strawberry and cream, traditionally hand-shaped ($18).
At Cartagena, sip on the Vanilla Spiced Old Fashioned with bourbon, Licor 43, cinnamon syrup, Angostura, and orange bitters ($18), or the Hibiscus Jubilee, featuring Planteray White Rum, house-made Christmas spiced syrup, and hibiscus tea ($20). Complete the experience with the Natilla y Buñuelo, a combination of coconut natilla, raspberry glaze, queso fresco buñuelo, sponge cake, orange tuile, and strawberry aguardiente ($18).

Miami Art Week: D’Puglia Flags for Future | December 1st – 8th, Open to the Public
Join us for Not Your Standard Culture & Heritage Celebration. Explore the debut of Flags for Future, co-curated by UTÖPIA and ’74, under the theme “Va’ dove ti porta il vento” (Go Where the Wind Takes You). This powerful exhibition of upcycled flags by renowned artists will illuminate the garden pathways and serve as a symbol of unity, transformation, and environmental responsibility. Each flag, carried by the wind, connects us to the environment and each other, representing hope and change.
Experience the unveiling of the D’Puglia collection of flags, themed around preserving the seas, monumental olive trees, and the architectural heritage of Puglia.
‘74, in collaboration with UTÖPIA and the D’Puglia program of Va ‘dove ti porta il vento | Go where the wind takes you presents the latest edition of Flags for Future at The Standard, Miami come together to raise awareness for Save the Olives and Oceanic Global.
Miami Art Week: Disco + Design Installation | December 4th – 8th
The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, Supermarket Creative’s Look + See Projects and The Future Perfect present Disco + Design, an exhibition that explores this intersection through immersive, multi-sensory experiences. Marking The Standard brand’s 25th anniversary, three hotel rooms have been transformed into distinct vignettes via furniture provided by The Future Perfect and a select group of its artists and designers to celebrate The Standard and Look + See Projects’ disco’s enduring influence on contemporary design, music, and cultural movements. To reinforce The Standard’s 25th silver anniversary, a specific room will have one (metallic disco) theme in common, in addition to a Wabi Sabi and Glam concept.
Spanning past, present, and future, the installation combines a diorama exhibition with heritage and contextual information, exploring the impact of disco on design across furniture, textiles, lighting, audio, and art. Furniture and lighting selections from The Future Perfect include pieces by Ann Carrington, Balmaceda, Bocci, Bower Studios, Chen Chen & Kai Williams, Chris Wolston, Dimoremilano, Floris Wubben, Ian Collings, Lazzarini & Pickering, Philippe Malouin, Pinch, Reinaldo Sanguino, Shore Studios, Thompson Street Studio, USM, and more.
The diorama’s rooms, presented by Freixenet, and the concept behind Disco + Design wouldn’t be complete without the accompanying soundscapes that match and/or are inspired by the design and theme of each of the dioramas.
Music is curated by renowned producer, Nicky Night Time + Michelle Leshem to showcase a mix of disco’s eclectic range from groovy to cosmic for each diorama.
