A Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. Miami Beach residents who received a voucher are invited to pick up their turkey at the designated location in North Beach.

One Miami Beach, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation established by the Miami Beach City Commission in January of 2014. Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine is the Chairman of the One Miami Beach Executive Board, which is comprised of Miami Beach Commissioners Jonah Wolfson and Joy Malakoff. The foundation’s mission is to raise money from private sources to fund a variety of causes in the Miami Beach community. To date, One Miami Beach has donated more than $115,000 to local organizations. Along with the Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, One Miami Beach has provided funds for the following initiatives:

- New uniforms and equipment for the Miami Beach Senior High School football team: $10,000
- Miami Beach Senior High School Basketball Team: $15,000
- Miami Beach Pet Assistance Program: $10,000
- Senior Center Exercise Classes: $5,000
