Talking Dust Bowl Blues: An FIU Student Showcase
On-site | Friday, December 15 @ 6–8pm
Join us for a reception and tour of our latest student-curated installation in the library, Grass, to Wheat, to Sand: The Dust Bowl Disaster. Delve into the romanticized history of the Great Plains and the 1930s environmental crisis, as FIU history students share behind-the-scenes insights into their curatorial process and speak to their favorite works in the show. Grass, to Wheat, to Sand was developed under the guidance of Dr. Frank Luca, adjunct professor at FIU and The Wolfsonian’s chief librarian and curator of library collections.
Free; held at 1001 Washington Ave. |
