Sunbeam Properties & Development and Sunbeam Television Corporation marked a major milestone with a tilt-up ceremony for their new 70,108-square-foot broadcast and production center in Miramar, Florida. The event drew city officials, community leaders, and guests who signed a plaque commemorating the rise of the first concrete walls of the cutting-edge facility.
Strategically located on eight acres at Red Road and Miramar Parkway, the new studio will host 7 NEWS, two broadcast studios, and support next-generation technology. Built to withstand hurricanes with advanced redundancy systems, the station aims to be fully operational by January 2027.
Earlier this year, Sunbeam Television expanded its reach with an ABC affiliation, allowing simulcasting of 7 NEWS on both FOX 7 and ABC 18. This move broadens audience access and strengthens its leadership in South Florida news, sports, and entertainment.
James Ansin, Co-President and General Manager, emphasized that the new facility enhances operational efficiency and viewer service. As part of Miramar Park of Commerce’s extensive network of businesses, this investment reinforces Miramar’s reputation as a hub for innovation and growth—further supported by upcoming projects like Miramar Cove, a 125-acre mixed-use development.
