Though his name remains unknown to many, his music shaped the sound of rock and soul, launching the careers of legends like Van Morrison and Neil Diamond.
Through rare performance footage and candid interviews with those who knew him best—including Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Ronald Isley, Solomon Burke, and Ben E.
