| Join us for a special outdoor showing of MJFF 2022 official selection Just As I Am in celebration of JDAIM on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30pm at the Miami Beach JCC. This special event is presented in partnership with the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance, Miami Beach JCC, UM CARD, Casa Familia, and Miami Sound Space.
A little film with a great big heart, Just As I Am follows the lives of several members of the Shira Choir, comprised of an exceptional group of singers with special needs, and the choirmaster that unites them. This touching journey through sorrow and joy, life and death, shows us how music challenges, heals, and uplifts those who are devoted to it.
Immediately following the film, Dr. Diane Adreon (UM-NSU CARD) and Nancy Zaretsky (Inclusion Specialist at GMJF) will host an extended conversation with the audience.
