A Night of Intrigue: Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner Series
Saturdays, October 11, 18 & 25 at 8 PM
The spotlight this October shines on High Tide Beach Bar & Grill, Surfcomber’s oceanfront restaurant as it transforms into a dramatic open-air stage for the new Murder Mystery Dinner Series. Held over three Saturdays, each night features a distinct plot and an intimate cast of 30 guests who take on roles, uncover clues, and unravel a chilling whodunit — all while enjoying a decadent three-course dinner with cocktail or wine pairings by Executive Chef Gastón Javier.
- Murder at the School of Sorcery (October 11): Step into a world of wizardry where spells, secrets, and sinister motives collide. Menu highlights include a Herbology Garden salad with heirloom carrots and gillyweed vinaigrette, a Great Hall Feast of roasted herbed chicken with Yorkshire pudding and root vegetables, and a whimsical Butterbeer Crème Brûlée.
- The Witches’ Pact (October 18): The witches of the Midnight Coven made a deadly deal—and now one of them has paid the price. You must uncover the truth… or become the next victim!
- An Invitation to Die For (October 25): Inspired by the classic game Clue, this seaside soirée turns every guest into a suspect in a stylish, suspense-filled showdown. Expect playful nods to the game board, including Mrs. Peacock’s bucatini “rope” with bloody pomodoro and a coq au vin 8-ball.
Guests receive their character role upon ticket purchase, with the drama beginning the moment they arrive. Costumes are encouraged—whether glamorous, ghoulish, or guilty as charged. Tickets are $158.50 per person (inclusive of dinner, two cocktails, fees, and gratuity). Click HERE to book.

Spooky Sips at The Social Club
At Surfcomber’s recently renovated signature restaurant, The Social Club, October brings a playful, seasonal twist with the debut of its Spooky Cocktail Menu. Known for its South of France-inspired design and ingredient-driven cuisine, the venue now adds a touch of mystery with imaginative libations such as:
- Evil Eye – a bewitching blend of gin, apple brandy, lemon, grenadine, and egg white, garnished with an eerie edible eyeball.
- Phantom’s Kiss – a bold, rum-forward cocktail layered with passion fruit syrup, absinthe, and a hint of grenadine for a darkly tropical finish.
- Dark Magic – vodka, Cointreau, and Lillet Blanc with an absinthe rinse and activated charcoal, creating a cocktail as mysterious in appearance as it is in flavor.
