Sedano’s Supermarkets, the leading Hispanic grocery chain in the U.S., has launched its annual Season of Giving aimed at nourishing families and spreading holiday cheer across South and Central Florida.
This year, Sedano’s will support over 700 families, providing turkeys and shelf-stable food bags in partnership with more than a dozen community organizations, including schools, food pantries, and local agencies. In South Florida, partners include Miami-Dade schools, the Miami Marlins, and local nonprofits, while collaborations in Central Florida involve the Orlando Sheriff’s Office and Police Department to identify families in need.
From November 1 to December 31, customers can donate by purchasing $10 or $20 pre-packed food bags at participating stores, with donations directed to neighborhood food pantries. Additionally, Sedano’s will participate in CAMACOL’s Holiday Food Basket Drive, helping feed 750 families on December 10.
Throughout December, the chain will also host community events like the Hialeah Snow Blast, city tree lightings, and a Senior Christmas Luncheon, plus surprise gift card giveaways to shoppers, reaffirming their commitment to community support during the holidays.
