A new unscripted docu-series is set to premiere on June 7, 2023, entitled “Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs”. The show will follow the lives of ten Muslim American sisters living in Los Angeles as they navigate their careers, cultural expectations, and love while upholding their faith and their bond as a family.
Produced by Half Yard Productions and executive produced by Nicole Sorrenti, Dirk Hoogstra, San Heng, and Erika Bryant, “Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs” promises to be a raw and revealing exploration of the challenges that come with being a Muslim American in today’s society.
The cast includes Shakur Sozahdah, Jamila Sozahdah, Hamida Sozahdah, Nooreya Sozahdah, Siddiqa Sozahdah, Rabya Sozahdah, Khadija Sozahdah, Shaista Sozahdah, Muzlefa Sozahdah and Halimah Sozahdah. Viewers can expect to see the sisters’ bonds put to the test as secrets are revealed, and the TV show they thought would bring them closer together threatens to tear them apart.
