Second Annual Miami Sports Month This April With Fun-Filled Sporting Activities and Deals for All

Following the success of last year’s first-ever Miami Sports Month, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and Miami-Dade Sports Commission have teamed up to bring more action-packed sports and activities to the popular destination this month.  Sponsored by MasterCard Priceless, Miami Sports Month provides guests and residents with fun deals and experiences like golf, tennis, bicycling, water sports and more.

On March 28, Miami Sports Month launched with the Monster Energy WWA Wake Park Triple Crown, a prestigious event in the splashy world of wakeboarding. As part of the Wake Park World Series, the event took place at the brand-new, first-of-its-kind Miami Watersports Complex located at Miami-Dade County’s Amelia Earhart Park, sponsored by Aktion Parks.  The opening of the Miami Watersports Complex is yet another premier sporting venue that calls Miami and The Beaches home.   More information and promotional activities for the Miami Sports Month program were made available during the grand opening of the Miami Watersports Complex.

“Miami and The Beaches’ is a global sports events town,” says GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME.  “And with Miami’s ideal, year-round weather, our visitors and locals will have access to their favorite sporting activities 365 days a year!”
