New Year’s Eve at LT South Beach, Chef Laurent Tourondel’s New American restaurant inside the Michelin-keyed Betsy Hotel pairs live jazz, an elegant three-course prix-fixe menu, and sweeping views of Lummus Park fireworks. LT South Beach offers two seatings built around the same core menu, with the later seating adding one exclusive entrée and a more celebratory atmosphere. The first seating, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. ($195 per person), features live piano music by the Cindy Ellis Group, while the second seating, from 8 to 10 p.m. ($295 per person), showcases a multi-artist jazz lineup including the Cindy Ellis Group, Jim Gasior and LeNard Rutledge & Friends, along with party favors and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Starters include Maine Lobster Salad with gem lettuce, cucumber, avocado, heart of palm and citrus emulsion; Steak Tartare and Black Truffle Salad with crispy leeks, whole grain mustard and caperberries; and a Spicy Tuna Roll with avocado, sriracha, puffed rice and shallots. Entrées range from Jumbo Crab Agnolotti with Uni tossed in brown butter, soy sauce and topped with Osetra caviar to Dover Sole Meuniere with truffle mashed potatoes, capers and parsley.
