RED ROOSTER OVERTOWN RINGS IN 2026 WITH HARLEM NIGHTS NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

Red Rooster Overtown, the acclaimed Overtown restaurant presented by Marcus Samuelsson, Derek Fleming and  Michael Simkins, is pleased to invite guests to step back in time and celebrate the arrival of 2026 at its Harlem Nights New Year’s Eve Party, held inside Clyde Killens’ legendary Pool Hall.  Once the after-hours playground for icons such as Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, and Billie Holiday, the Pool Hall will glow again with live music, Harlem swing, and 1920s-inspired style.

Presented by Miami Jazz Booking, the Harlem Nights New Year’s Eve Party at Red Rooster Overtown promises an unforgettable evening filled with soulful energy and timeless glamour. Headlining the night is the Nikki Kidd Band, whose vibrant performance will set the tone with Harlem-inspired sound and lively entertainment. The atmosphere will be electric, with bottles poured, sharp suits, dazzling dresses, and a spirited crowd coming together to welcome the new year.

Guests are encouraged to dress to match the evening’s theme. The event runs from 10 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025, until 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2026. Tickets are available at $65 for Early Bird pricing while supplies last, and $80 for General Admission, with taxes and fees applied at checkout.

The New Year Eve festivities at Red Rooster Overtown begin with an à la carte menu option from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A New Year’s Eve Champagne Dinner prix fixe dinner priced at $125 per person, is available seating from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. with live DJ sets and champagne toast at midnight. The New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu opens with Corn Bread Madeleinestopped with crème fraiche and caviar. Guests may then choose from Hopping John Salad with kale, black-eyed peas, peppers, pecans, crispy chickpeas and maple balsamic vinaigrette; Smoked Crab and Corn Fritters with charred scallion and chili crunch aioli; or Truffle Chive Deviled Eggs with crispy chicken skins.

Entrée selections include Cornbread Crusted Snapper with charred corn velouté, smoked tomato jam, lemon brown butter and shaved fennel; Smoked Short Rib with cognac sweet potato purée, citrus collards and caramelized onion; or Wild Mushrooms and Grits with brown butter bourbon glaze, white cheddar grits and crispy greens. Dessert options feature Brown Butter Pecan Tart with buttermilk ice cream and cane syrup caramel, Seasonal Cobbler with peach and blueberry, or Bananas Foster with pound cake crumbles and brown sugar Remy glaze.
