Move over Santa, ProFlowers®, one of the nation’s largest online flower retailers that delivers fresh-from-the-field flowers straight to doorsteps across the country, delivered more than $20,000 worth of flowers on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 to Miami Children’s Hospital’s tiny patients, their parents and staff that cares for them just in time for Christmas.
ProFlowers® delivered 500 bouquets (valued at $20,000) from their most popular holiday offerings to Miami Children’s Hospital to brighten the day and the stays of children suffering from illness and injuries. The flowers were also given to the staff that provides world-class care to the children and who go above and beyond to make these children feel better. “Having delivered bouquets for the last 15 years, we know the joy and love that a bouquet of flowers can bring to people. We wanted to share a piece of that warmth this holiday season with the families having to spend their holidays in the hospital. We hope that these holiday themed bouquets bring a smile to everyone’s faces at Miami’s Children Hospital,” said ProFlowers® General Manager Bill Patterson.
The ProFlowers® bouquets included:

- Snowflakes and Embers – Reminiscent of fresh boughs of holly gently covered in a delicate blanket of snow, the red and white bouquet includes roses,Anastasia/Fuji mums, cushion poms accented by leatherleaf .
