She is the author of Insecure at Last, a political memoir. Ensler is the founder of V-Day, the global movement to end violence against women and girls. In the last decade, V-Day has raised more than $70 million for grassroots groups that work to end violence against women and girls around the world. Eve Ensler lives in Paris and New York City.
About Casa Valentina
Casa Valentina is a non-profit organization that addresses the unique, gender-specific needs of young women who age out of foster care at age 18 without life experience, financial stability and support they need to survive on their own. Facing numerous transitional challenges, this population of at-risk girls is vulnerable to violence, prostitution, substance abuse, incarceration, pregnancy, domestic violence and homelessness.
