One hundred years after the Manifesto of Futurism celebrated “the beauty of speed,” the world continues to move and evolve at an ever-accelerating pace. Culled from The Wolfsonian’s rare book and ephemera collection, this display examines speed and its limits in the context of the transportation and workplace revolutions of the twentieth century. It is organized to complement the exhibition Speed Limits on the sixth and seventh floors.
