We’re excited to present Grammy-nominated PALO!’s free 20th-anniversary concert at the Miami Beach Bandshell! In conjunction with our Turn the Beat Around exhibition, we’re partnering with the Rhythm Foundation to celebrate PALO!, Miami’s own legendary Afro-Cuban funk ensemble. Join us for a pre-concert program featuring a visual journey through the history of the Afro-Cuban musical legacy and a talk by Wolfsonian curator Frank Luca.
Co-presented with the Rhythm Foundation, as part of the North Beach Social series; Miami Soundscapes; and The Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab.
