Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour presented by Duffy’s Sports Grill

The Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour presented by Duffy’s Sports Grill concluded last week after trips to Charlotte, Indianapolis and Nashville for ACC, Big Ten and SEC media days. The tour, presented by Duffy’s Sports Grill and in partnership with 560 WQAM and ESPN West Palm, featured interviews with top players, coaches, conference commissioners and prominent media personalities in advance of the 2023 college football season.

The Joe Rose Show (560 WQAM) and Ken Lavicka Live with Theo Dorsey (ESPN West Palm – 106.3 FM) broadcasted live from Charlotte and featured ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips as well as some of the ACC’s top coaches including Clemson’s Dabo Swinney, Florida State’s Mike Norvell, and Miami’s Mario Cristobal. Both shows also interviewed top players including Florida State’s Jordan Travis, Syracuse’s Orande Gadsden II and Duke’s DeWayne Carter, all of whom were named to PFF’s 2023 preseason All-ACC teams.

For SEC and Big Ten Media Days, Orange Bowl traveled with 560 WQAM’s Zach Krantz to broadcast Krantz’s Korner from Nashville and Indianapolis. Krantz sat down with Georgia’s back-to-back defending national champion head coach Kirby Smart, the head coach of the reigning Capital One Orange Bowl champions, Tennessee’s Josh Heupel, as well as the MVP of the 89th Capital One Orange Bowl, Tennessee’s Joe Milton III. Krantz also interviewed CFP Executive Director Bill Hancock and SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, as well as some of the nation’s top college football media personalities including Heather Dinich, Brett McMurphy, Dennis Dodd, Pat Forde and Joe Tessitore.

Fans can listen to these interviews on 560 WQAM and ESPN West Palm.

The 2023 Capital One Orange Bowl kicks off Saturday, December 30 at 4 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium, featuring a matchup between the ACC Champion or the highest-ranked ACC team if the champion is in the playoff, against a top opponent from the Big Ten, SEC, or Notre Dame.
