Niño Gordo, Wynwood’s cult-favorite restaurant known for its high-voltage blend of Argentine fire and Asian technique, is launchingCooking with Friends, a new chef-driven collaboration series bringing like-minded restaurants and bars into the kitchen for exclusive menus and one-night-only takeovers.
The series debuts Sunday, January 25, with a collaboration alongside Miami favorite Phuc Yea, the four-time Michelin Bib Gourmand–recognized, Modern Vietnamese-Latin concept. From 6:30–10 PM, guests can experience a special à la carte menu that blends the distinct styles of both kitchens.
Cooking with Friends builds on Niño Gordo’s history of buzzy chef collaborations, following past partnerships with La Mar and Kojin, and will continue throughout the year with additional guest chefs and concepts, including an upcoming collaboration with Vice Versalater this season (more details to be announced soon!).
