New Play: And Then We Were No More Opens at La MaMa

Debuting September 28 at La MaMa, And Then We Were No More, written by acclaimed playwright Tim Blake Nelson, explores a near-future world where a lawyer must defend a prisoner facing execution by a pain-free machine. Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, this thought-provoking off-Broadway production runs through November 2 at the Frank Shiner Theatre (66 E. 4th St., NYC).

Featuring a star-studded cast including Elizabeth Marvel and Scott Shepherd, the play tackles urgent themes of justice, mercy, and systemic failure. La MaMa’s first fully-staged production since its founding emphasizes innovative, boundary-pushing theatre. Tickets start at $49—visit lamama.org for details.
