Centro Cultural Español will present “Mover la roca” (Move the boulder),” which gathers the works of five Dominican visual artists who reflect on the social and cultural situation of their island. These artists from Quintapata (Fifthleg) seek to protest the lack of interest for contemporary art in this Caribbean country. Artists include Tony Capellán, Pascal Meccariello, Raquel Paiewonsky, Jorge Pineda, and Belkis Ramírez. Curated by Fernando Castro Flórez.
