Inspired by its rich history and 1950s glamor, world-renowned Chef Jean-George Vongerichten has reinvented the iconic MATADOR ROOM with reimagined menus that offer his interpretation of Caribbean, Spanish, and Latin and South American cuisines. For brunch, enjoy Avocado Toast on seven grain bread or a nutritious Vanilla Chia Bowl. For mains, try Eggs Benedict on a white corn arepa or a BLT Taco with house-cured bacon. Indulge in desserts like Cafe con Tres Leches or a Cherry Cheesecake Sundae with sour cherry sorbet.
At MATADOR ROOM’s Miami Spice dinner, savor appetizers like the Maitake Mushroom and Goat Cheese with Fresno Pepper Vinaigrette, or the South Pacific Kampachi Crudo with green chili dressing and crunchy rice. For entrees, enjoy the Charred Octopus with Calabrian vinaigrette and fava beans, or the Arroz con Pollo featuring crackling skin and lemon zest. Finish with desserts such as the Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream or the Cherry Cheesecake Sundae with sour cherry sorbet and cream cheese ice cream.
