New to this year’s Miami Spice lineup, Cleo at the historic Balfour in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood will offer a bold and flavorful Eastern Mediterranean dinner menu for $45. Led by Executive Chef Camila Olarte, the menu is built around traditional regional dishes with modern touches, designed to be shared and enjoyed together. Guests are invited to choose appetizers of creamy Hummuswith zhoug and olive oil paired with house-made jou jou pita or fresh crudités; savory Spicy Cigars filled with ground lamb, labneh and feta; or Harissa Tuna Tartare with avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, capers and herbs. Entrées include a range of Mediterranean-inspired favorites, such as Grilled Octopus with green chermoula and harissa aioli, a grilled and glazed Wagyu Beef Skirt Steak, or Crispy Cauliflower tossed in garlic lemon pepper and finished with tomato salsa. For dessert, diners can enjoy a bright Pomegranate Granitatopped with almond crunch or the decadent Baklawa Tower with pistachio gelato and cream. Cleo is also offering a $35 Miami Spice lunch menu, and guests are invited to select from dishes like the traditional Greek Salad of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, crumbled feta cheese and red wine vinaigrette; Corvina Ceviche with leche de tigre, avocado, coriander and dill oil; or Spiced Marinated Chicken Kebab. Lunch ends with a tropical Yogurt Panna Cotta, Greek yogurt topped with fresh fruit and a raspberry sorbet.
