The Miami Open presented by Itaú has announced its singles entry list for the March 15-29 tournament at Hard Rock Stadium, featuring an elite field of players from 34 countries, including eight past champions.
Leading the men’s field are ATP No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, the 2022 champion who was just 18 when he won his first title, and ATP No. 2 Jannik Sinner, last year’s winner at age 22. The tournament also includes 17 title winners this season, 16 Major champions, and seven players who have held the No. 1 ranking. Notably, 38-year-old Novak Djokovic, the oldest contender, looks to add another Miami title to his six wins. The youngest men’s player is 19-year-old Joao Fonseca of Brazil.
In the women’s draw, WTA No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka returns to defend her 2023 crown, while 2022 champion Iga Swiatek is also in the mix. The women’s field features a strong group of teenagers, including Mirra Andreeva, Iva Jovic, Tereza Valentova, Victoria Mboko, and Maya Joffe, ages 18-19.
The tournament will open with qualifying rounds March 15-17, with main draw matches starting March 17. For the first time, a night session on Stadium Court on Women’s Empowerment Day will kick off the main draw. The event culminates with the women’s final on March 28 and the men’s final on March 29.
Over 150 initial entries include five top-10 Americans: Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Amanda Anisimova, Taylor Fritz, and Ben Shelton. View the full fields
