Holiday travel is officially taking off and new data from KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine, reveals just how busy Miami International Airport (MIA) will be this year.
According to KAYAK’s new Travel Check-In Holiday, MIA ranks among the top 10 busiest airports in the U.S. for Christmas, based on flight searches. Overall, flight searches on KAYAK are up 10% year-over-year. Despite the crowds, there’s good news for travelers: domestic airfare is currently down 1% and international fares are down 7% compared to last year.
