Miami E-Prix Wrap-Up: Evans Clips the Rain for Record-Breaking Win as Formula E Makes Big Off-Track Moves

The 2026 Miami E-Prix has wrapped up with thrilling moments and significant updates. Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans took an electrifying victory in a rain-soaked race, marking his 15th Formula E win and crossing 1,000 career points. The tight, weather-affected race saw multiple ATTACK MODE exchanges and impressive drives from drivers battling through challenging conditions.

Porsche Formula E drivers Nico Müller and Pascal Wehrlein rounded out the podium, helping Porsche widen its lead in the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ standings. Nick Cassidy remains the Drivers’ Championship leader despite race hardships.

Beyond the race track, Formula E announced a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud as Principal AI Partner, a new collaboration with eyewear brand SunGod, and the appointment of actor Lucien Laviscount as a Brand Ambassador.

Next stop: Jeddah for Rounds 4 and 5 on February 13–14, with the return of Evo Sessions—an exciting new format featuring global creators racing GEN3 EVO cars during the February 15 event.
