The 2019 Miami Downtown Jazz Festival (MDJF) is 5 days of live music featuring a Miami blend of sounds – jazz, with a touch of clave, funk & blues.

MDJF celebrated its inaugural run in 2017, initiated by WDNA Radio as part of the station’s mission to spread the experience of jazz and quality music throughout the community.

MDJF aim is to reflect the rich roots and innovative developments of this incredible art form called jazz, as well as, the diverse cultural make up of Miami.

MDJF also highlights the downtown area of our city as a beautiful, walkable area with a burgeoning arts scene.

MDJF would not be possible without the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Knight Arts Challenge, funding the best ideas for engaging and enriching communities through the arts.
