Miami-Dade County to kick off Baynanza season with 2026 art contest winners at Vizcaya

Miami-Dade County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) will host its annual Baynanza kickoff event at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, marking the start of two months filled with more than 60 events for residents across the County to experience, protect, and help restore Biscayne Bay, the blue heart of our community.

Highlighting the event will be the unveiling of winning artwork submitted by Miami-Dade County Public Schools students for the Baynanza 2026 T-shirt, poster, sticker and photo competition.
