Art comes in many shapes and sizes. Come experience the different art mediums and create your own art to bring home.

Cost: $45 MCM Members, $50 Non-Members

 

Dr. Seuss’ 106th Birthday

Tuesday, March 2nd 2010

3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Join MCM as we celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 106h Birthday and commemorate one of the world’s greatest children’s book storytellers. It will be a celebration full of games, celebrity story readers, art projects, giveaways and contests at MCM on Watson Island! This event is FREE and open to the public!

 

MCM Kids Cooking Club

The MCM Kids Cooking Club brings you healthy recipes you can try at home with your kids. Each month is a different chef and a different healthy recipe. Please check back every month for dates and times.

 

Zumba for Kids

Saturday, March 13th 2010

2:00 p.m.

Join our Zumba Master Trainer for this 30 minute high energy and motivating Zumba class.  It offers unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO”.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

The Wizard of Oz EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITION
Follow the yellow brick road to MCM for the official Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibition, the only Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensed and sanctioned traveling Children’s Museum Exhibit! Visitors of all ages are invited to come along with Dorothy and Toto on a multi-sensory, cross-disciplinary exploration of the Land of Oz. Along the way, discover personal strengths and gifts using: Literacy, visual, musical and performing arts, values and strengths, investigating light and science, overcoming physical challenges and personal reflection and decision-making. You can even get to know your favorite movie characters!

 

The Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibition was created by Miami Children’s Museum and SPARKS, in conjunction with Turner Entertainment Co.
