Miami Boosted by Porter Airlines’ Expanded Winter Routes for 2025-2026

Porter Airlines is significantly expanding its 2025-2026 winter schedule, including increased flights to sun destinations like Miami, from Ottawa (YOW) starting January 24, 2026. The airline will operate three weekly flights connecting Miami and Ottawa, enhancing cross-border travel options for Florida-bound travelers from Canada.

This move is part of Porter’s broader network growth, which includes four new routes this winter, such as Vancouver to Phoenix and Montreal to Nassau, along with increased capacity on popular routes from Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton. All flights operate on Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, offering a premium experience with no middle seats, free WiFi, and onboard amenities, making Miami even more accessible for Canadian travelers during peak winter months.

Porter’s strategic expansion supports Miami’s position as a key North American gateway for leisure and business travelers, reinforcing its importance as a major winter destination.
