Miami Biotech Collective, South Florida’s largest biotech network, kicked off Miami Art Week 2025 with its first-ever Annual Summit, “The Art of Driving the Future of Biotech in South Florida,” hosted at The Moore. The exclusive event brought together over 150 biotech leaders, investors, and health system experts to explore how the region can cultivate and finance the next wave of innovative biotech companies.

The day featured dynamic panels on early funding strategies, building market-ready companies, and scaling biotech ventures, with top industry voices such as J.P. Morgan’s Kathryn McDonough emphasizing Miami’s rising significance in the global biotech scene.

The summit concluded with insights from industry titans Brent Saunders, Fred Hassan, and David Epstein on transformative partnerships, offering a masterclass in big deal-making.

Adding to the Miami Art Week experience, attendees enjoyed powerful visual exhibitions—“The Art of the Patient,” by breast cancer survivor Karina Giselle Rodriguez, and “Still Life Series” by Pablo Esteban—along with a soulful performance by Brazilian Voices.

This groundbreaking event solidifies Miami’s position as a hub for biotech innovation and highlights the city’s vibrant intersection of science, art, and culture.
