Miami Art Week: Museum of Graffiti Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Major Exhibitions and Live Activations Dec. 3–5

During Miami Art Week, the Museum of Graffiti in Wynwood debuts two major exhibitions: Origins, a new semi-permanent showcase tracing graffiti’s journey from NYC streets to global acclaim, and El Tiguere, a solo show by renowned artist JonOne. The museum also returns with its outdoor patio featuring daily demos, aerosol battles, live performances, and brand activations.

Origins begins with an immersive “vintage hardware store” and highlights rare works by early graffiti pioneers like PHASE2 and SNAKE 1—art not seen since their 1973 debut. Co-founder Allison Freidin emphasizes sharing authentic graffiti history.

El Tiguere showcases JonOne’s vibrant, motion-filled style. For the first time in Miami, visitors can watch JonOne create live in a dedicated studio inside the museum, with a special performance on opening day.

Open December 3–5, 12–6 p.m., tickets are $25 for the full experience, which includes free artwork, aerosol battles, and craft cocktails. Located at 276 NW 26th Street, the museum celebrates graffiti’s cultural impact and its role in art and hip hop.
