Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and heartbeat of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Max Weinberg, will bring his high-energy, interactive show, “Max Weinberg’s Jukebox,” to Hard Rock Cafe for a weeklong residency from Saturday, Feb. 28, through Saturday, March 7, with performances nightly at 9:30 p.m. The intimate residency gives fans a rare opportunity to see Weinberg up close as he warms up for the upcoming Springsteen tour (Who knows what friends might drop in!).
Best known as the heartbeat of the E Street Band for more than five decades and as bandleader and comic foil for Conan O’Brien’s late-night television show for 17 years, Weinberg invites audiences to create the set list in real time during this high-energy performance experience.
Backed by his four-piece band, Weinberg performs selections chosen by the crowd from a video menu featuring more than 300 songs. The catalog spans classic rock favorites from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s biggest hits. Audience members call out their choices, and the band plays them live.
In addition, Weinberg and E Street Band guitarist Stevie Van Zandt are scheduled to appear Sunday, March 1, at the Guitar Hotel Pool for a special event. Additional details and ticket information are available at https://teachrock.org/event/escape-the-winter-time-blues.
