Marius Robinson Bird Festival at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

Reason to Leave The Gables: Bird Festival

The Tropical Audubon Society invites you to experience the wonders of birds, nature and science at the inaugural Marius Robinson Bird Festival at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Sunday, April 23 at 8:30 am. The newly hatched, family-friendly event celebrates the annual northbound flight of nearly 350 species of migratory birds that stop to recharge in South Florida.

This free event includes interactive activities, expert talks, field sketching, games, prizes, book readings, binocular demonstrations, and an opportunity to learn about the society’s community science project, the Cape Florida Banding Station.
