Curated by Katherine “Neco” Kafruni, 29 visual arts students from New World School of the Arts will exhibit their work in “Lost in Reverie: Tales from the Playground” an exploration of the cherished moments and nostalgic reveries that define the artists’ earliest years. From whimsical interpretations to introspective reflections, participating artists are invited to delve into their own recollections and capture the essence of youth through their unique perspectives. Each artwork serves as a window into the past, offering viewers a glimpse into the universal experiences of innocence, wonder, and joy that shape our lives. “Our aim is to cultivate local culture makers,” said O. Gustavo Plascencia, NWSA Dean of visual arts. “This exhibition is a bridge between school and professional work while strengthening the local art community.”
