Lead vocalist Alexa Lash, named Miami New Time‘s 2024 Award Winner for Best Songwriter, will captivate you with her heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice. Her music will navigate you through love and heartbreak, melody by melody and lyric by lyric. Her voice has been likened to Florence Welch, Adele, Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin. Her musical influences range from bright Broadway musicals to the dark and edgy lyrical prowess of performers like Alanis Morrisette.
In this special performance, violinist Belinda Stohner and cellist Jose Pradas, both from Miami, will join Alexa and her band members lead guitarist Marcel Salas, bass guitarist Carlos Marcano Garcia and drummer Jonathan Colorado to play tracks from Alexa’s album, Heartbreak in Movements, as well as well-known band favorites.
