On Thursday, August 21 from 6–8 p.m., Lincoln Road continues its monthly Art Walk series. The free outdoor event transforms Miami Beach’s iconic pedestrian district into a walkable gallery with special exhibitions, artist meet-and-greets and immersive public art. This month’s highlights include Why We Gather, a powerful group exhibition at FIU’s Miami Beach Urban Studios exploring the cultural meaning of Black gatherings, along with newly installed large-scale bronze sculptures by internationally acclaimed artists Gillie and Marc, which visitors can explore as part of the self-guided walk. With postcard maps and signage guiding the way, the experience spans eight blocks from 6th to 17th Street, inviting locals and visitors to engage with art in a community setting.
