Learn Stop-Motion Animation for FREE
Every Saturday and Sunday this June, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Discover the magic of stop-motion animation at Vizcaya Village! As part of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens’ 2023 Contemporary Arts Program (CAP), mother-daughter duo Karla Caprali and Sophia Cabral lead a series of FREE animation workshops every Saturday and Sunday this June, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No prior experience is required to join in the fun. Over the course of each weekend, participants will learn everything from storyboarding and character development to the intricate processes of editing and post-production. Most excitingly, you’ll be part of creating “The Kitchin,” the first community-made stop-motion short animation produced on Vizcaya’s grounds.
