De La Ghetto is a chart-topping Latin urban and reggaeton singer-songwriter and GRAMMY-nominated recording artist. Born Rafael Castillo, the Puerto Rican artist has built a career spanning more than 20 years. A pioneer of reggaeton and Latin trap, he is credited with helping shape the genre by blending reggaeton with hip-hop and trap influences.
De La Ghetto recently completed a conceptual trilogy showcasing the full range of his artistry, from the summer-inspired sounds of “Daylight” to his latest release, “Moonlight,” a seven-track EP exploring nightlife through a mix of reggaeton, tropical beats, electronic elements and Caribbean influences. The trilogy concludes with “Starlight,” which blends raw emotion and melodic depth while highlighting the evolution of Latin urban music through themes of life, struggle and stardom.
